The Teagan Ansley Foundation
On December 4th, 2017, we welcomed our twins, Teagan and Sawyer, into the world. They were born at 27 weeks. Teagan weighed 2.4lbs and Sawyer weighed in at 2.8lbs. After 40 days in the NICU, our daughter passed on January 12th, 2018. Our son remained in the NICU for another 46 days before finally being released. It was during that time that the idea for Teagan’s foundation developed. We wanted a way to carry on her name and honor the beauty she brought to our lives. Our foundation creates personalized care packages for parents that have experienced a loss. These packages contain items to create a memorial garden for their child. Additionally, each parent is given a memorial rainbow bracelet with their child’s name. This has become the symbol of our foundation!
